"Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity is helping to improve the health of the people of Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Wandsworth.  We encourage innovation and excellence, providing added value rather than replacing NHS provision. We aim to support patients, their families and carers from birth to death.
We support initiatives that aim to modernise healthcare by researching new and improved solutions, speeding up treatment, delivering care as near to home as appropriate, and by making the caring environment pleasant and conducive to healing.
We seek to integrate the Arts to encourage a healing environment, and we own and maintain the collection of art for which the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital is renowned.

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust achieved a double Excellent rating in the Healthcare Commission’s annual performance ratings 2007—this means the Trust is one of the best 3 hospitals in London and among the top 5% in England. We aim to help it to maintain and improve on this leading position.
The Charity has recently funded:
• A pioneering robot for the pharmacy
• Two state of the art incubators for babies in the intensive care unit
• Ground breaking stem cell research
• Customer care training for all the staff of the Foundation Trust
• A new art gallery on the first floor of the Hospital
• Live performances of music in the atrium and on the wards"
